The P&B Hortikultura nursery is owned by Blaženka Vrgoč, a forestry engineer and Dr. sc. Petar Vrgoč, certified forestry engineer. The nursery was founded in 1997, and is located along the main road, across from the cemetery of Sv. Vid village. The nursery offers about 600 items, ornamental plants, fruit trees, vines, humus, fertilizers and tools and accessories for gardening. An exhibition of bonsai trees called Bonsai collection is located within the nursery. Most bonsai specimens are grown from pines, Pinus halepensis “Lucija” and Pinus nigra “Lara”, which were grown as special cultivars in the nursery. The oldest specimens, shaped like bonsai trees, make the P&B Bonsai collection special. During the tourist season of the island of Krk, as a tourist destination, a nursery and a collection of bonsai specimens are a place for a short vacation and finding interesting plants for those who like it.
